Does your life look different to the outside world than it is in reality? Are there things that have happened to you that you’ve told no one? Are you scared you’ll get more hurt if you try to get help?

Ashleigh is eager to help you. Ashleigh works with teens and adults who have experienced abuse of all kinds. She has experience helping many clients reach places of healing from being victims of physical, sexual, verbal, and emotional abuse. She has a passion to come alongside the clients she works with and to see them leave therapy in a much better place than when they first came in. Ashleigh customizes her counseling techniques to fit each client’s preferred style and to cater to their particular needs.

Ashleigh’s clients can expect at the start of therapy to get to know Ashleigh, get questions answered, set counseling goals with Ashleigh, work through those goals each session in various ways, and resume counseling until those goals are met. Ashleigh believes that each person is unique and knows that using more than just conversation in therapy is very helpful for some people. Because of this, her approach in therapy is to use additional resources when needed (assessments, games, visuals, etc.).

Ashleigh is passionate about offering Biblical counseling, but offers non-Biblical counseling as well (she enjoys both!). She also uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and loves to focus on finding solutions.

Ashleigh has a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies from Texas Tech University and a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling from Dallas Baptist University. She has worked at the Children’s Advocacy Center in Lubbock, TX, and did her Master’s Level Associate counseling at a non-profit for victims of abuse. Ashleigh has a big heart for international missions and has traveled to Honduras, Guatemala, Panama, Austria and four times to Uganda to tell the people there about Jesus. Her third trip to Uganda she moved there for about 9 months as a missionary when she was 19 years old. When Ashleigh’s not counseling, she loves to try out new coffee shops, leading middle schoolers at her church, and being an aunt.

So, don’t wait any longer! Are you ready for change or to take control of your life? Are you ready to get help or be free from pain? Give our office a call today and schedule an appointment with Ashleigh.
