Have you been struggling with the loss of someone, the end of a relationship, or suffering from the loss of what could have been? Do you feel as though you are falling deeper and deeper into a hole of grief? Does life seem overwhelming and stressful, and getting out of bed every morning has become a daunting task? Or perhaps you are a parent who has a child with additional needs, and you are struggling to handle it all. Danielle works with adolescents, adults, and couples. She provides an environment that is free of judgment, full of compassion, and steeped in knowledge. Danielle meets every client where they are in life, and with patience and grace, works in a collaborative effort to address their individual needs. She uses cognitive behavior therapy, mindfulness, solution-focused therapy, and person-centered therapy to help address negative thought patterns and discover the skills within oneself, to thrive.

Danielle believes that everyone can uncover and live the life they desire. There is no magic. There is no one size fits all, and your best life may look different from another’s best life. Danielle helps her clients embrace what is important to them and what they want out of life; creating a life that utilizes coping strategies, self-care, healthy thinking, and cultivates emotional regulation.
If you are on medication, know that therapy is the best supplement. Although medication has proven helpful in many cases, the best results can be found when they are combined with therapy.

Danielle is fluent in American Sign Language (ASL) and spent 10 years working at Texas School for the Deaf. She has a heart for the deaf community and wants to help them access therapy without the need for an interpreter. She is a firm believer that therapy should be available to all who are in need and is doing her best to be a part of the process of bringing it to the deaf community. She also has 15 years of experience with the special needs community. Her heart has always been for those that society tends to cast off.

Danielle grew up in Houston but has resided in several other areas in Texas such as Austin and Dallas. Moving throughout the state has allowed her to meet many people and grow an appreciation for diverse backgrounds. She graduated from Sam Houston State University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice. She recently completed her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Colorado Christian University.
Danielle is an easy-going therapist, that prides herself on being attentive, honest, and transparent with her clients.
