Emily works with teenagers, young adults, and couples who deal with stress, anxiety, depression, relationship/family conflict, and other mental health issues. She uses Solution Focused Therapy to identify goals and works alongside the individual to keep their best hopes for counseling in mind. Through focusing on the goals of the client, she is able to find measurable tasks and tools to help the client get closer to their desired outcome.

Emily believes that people are the designers of their own lives and with the right help can take ownership of it again!

“I believe it is important to recognize the patterns of your history, in order to identify and remove the unhealthy behaviors. I am someone who has shared in life’s struggles and has studied coping techniques that offer individuals a helping hand.”

She often sees clients involved in a negative cycle that they can’t seem to find a way out of. She believes that through counseling, individuals will learn coping tools and strategies to allow freedom in relational and individual life issues.

Emily sees clients online and at our Coppell location. Emily’s passion is working with teenagers, young adults and couples to identify their personal struggles and to set attainable goals. She has been in leadership positions in her church young adult ministry, The Porch, and mentors the women on her team. Emily knows what life is like through her own personal experiences with feeling lost, stressed, grieved with personal struggles and has found freedom through therapeutic techniques.

Emily grew up in McAllen, Texas.
