Do you feel like life is just too hard and you can’t seem to get control of things? Are worries, fears or sadness constantly interrupting your day and keeping you from being “your normal you?” Lindsey wants to walk with you through this difficult time and help you learn the tools you need to overcome these distressing emotions.
As a former Young Life leader and middle and high school teacher, Lindsey excels in working with adolescents, teens and young adults who are struggling with anxiety, depression, social anxieties and body image. Lindsey believes that everyone needs someone in their corner providing them acceptance, direction and consistent support for them to be who they are meant to be.
Lindsey has a bachelor’s degree from the University of North Texas and a Masters in Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University. She is the wife to a former Army Captain and part of a blended family of four kids. Lindsey firmly believes in the power of thoughts to influence both emotions and actions. She works with clients to better understand their problematic thoughts and implement strategies to change them into more positive, healthy thoughts. Utilizing approaches like Cognitive behavioral therapy and Mindfulness, Lindsey will work with you to come up with skills to overcome both your negative thoughts and emotions throughout your day. Sometimes, a little bit of counseling is just what you need.
Lindsey wants you to know:

- Even though she doesn’t know you, she already genuinely cares about you.
- She loves people and feels that it is her life’s goal to help people be themselves and have a purposeful and enjoyable life.
- She’ll give you her best effort to help you through this time.
