Lori works with teens and adults who are experiencing stress, anxiety, depression, and low self-esteem. Lori uses an encouraging, non-judgmental, and collaborative approach to help you take steps to getting better. Lori’s goal is to help you feel happier, have healthy relationships, and better well-being in life. She uses relaxation, mindfulness meditation, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and goal setting to reduce anxiety and depression. In your first session, Lori will help you create a plan for moving forward.
Lori also works with couples and families. If you are struggling in your relationships, Lori will help you to build communication skills and listening skills.
Lori grew up in Dallas and graduated from the University of North Texas with a BFA in art and psychology and graduated from Amberton University with a Masters of Arts in Professional Counseling. Lori has two daughters, one son-in-law, and two precious granddaughters. She loves animals and art. She has worked with cancer patients in overcoming fear and coming to terms with their diagnosis. Lori was diagnosed with a rare cancer 7 years ago and is passionate about helping people who have been in similar situations. Lori is an overcomer and focuses on living her life to the fullest. She hopes to help her clients live life to the fullest too.
