Shalonda believes that counseling provides safety, connection, and authenticity. She utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy technique because she wants the clients to become aware of negative thoughts and to gain control of them without judging and/or isolating themselves or go as far as feeling numb. Shalonda was born and raised in Texas. She is married with three children. She is pursuing a master’s in professional counseling from Dallas Baptist University. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. She and her family reside in Little Elm where she currently owns a licensed in-home Preschool. In her free time, she enjoys getting pampered, taking naps, family outings, and eating.
